Lindsay Philips is the energetic inspiration and founding force behind Switchflops - they evolved out of one of her high school art projects!

Lindsay begain designing 'flip flops' with different, fun straps and came upon the the idea of using Velcro to allow different straps to be placed on the same thong base.

Switchflops made it's retail debut in January 2007 at the Surf Expo Trade show in Orlando, Florida where it was showcased as a new and innovative product
